The cabin provides some of the best sunset you will ever see. The field becomes an ocean of green with the glow of orange, red and yellow filling the sky above it. You can sit on the front porch and watch as the sun dips below the earth casting light in the most magnificent way. but when the sun goes downs the show is not over as the night sky burst forth with millions of stars filling the space above.

A Little Bit About Our Cabin
This is a real cabin.....not a house in the woods. This rustic cabin sit's tucked back 1100 feet off of a lazy country road providing a 5 mile, breath-taking, view.
The cabin was hand built in 1963 by a backwoodsman who lived there for over 30 years. Every single piece of wood used to construct this cabin was wood that the builder harvested from the property . While sitting at the kitchen table look closely above at the rafters and you'll find the creators name written on beams.
Your view from the front porch whether in the morning or evening is nothing short of spectacular, as hundreds of acre's sprawl out in front of you with a 5 mile view.
This is truly a one of a kind place as well as location......perfect for so many types of gatherings:
-romantic evening/weekend
-family weekend trip: many memories to be made around the fire-pit, on the front porch, and walk the 50 acre's
-a guy's or girls getaway
-small game hunting with a family member: our 25 acre's of wood are packed with squirrels
In the property's woods you will find some very unique glacier boulders. Our guest find them fun to climb on and take pictures.
Beside the cabin is a shaded yard area that is nestled under the canopy of the surrounding woods. This area includes a fire pit area and you can find plenty of down limbs, twigs, and woods behind the cabin....but if you like convenience, our neighbor directly to the west will provide you an generous amount of dry, freshly cut firewood for $10.
The road that the property sits on is great for morning or evening walks and there is a dollar store just 1 mile down the road.
